Juan founded JP Direct Health in Wylie, Texas, where he helps individuals, families, self-employed professionals, and small businesses explore health insurance options throughout Texas and several other states. He proudly serves his local and surrounding communities in both English and Spanish, helping clients with their health insurance and income protection needs. With 18+ years of experience in insurance, consulting, management, and financial services, Juan brings extensive knowledge and experience to every client relationship.

Allyson Peón has been an experienced insurance professional since 1999. She has a solid educational background, including a degree in Business and holds an AINS Designation. As a licensed Life and Health insurance broker, Allyson is proud to serve as a marketing director, alongside her husband and JP Direct Health owner, Juan Peón. Together, they work to help others with their Life and Health Insurance needs. She has a genuine ambition to use her knowledge and experience to assist individuals, families, self-employed professionals, and small businesses; while helping understand and customize a plan that meets their goals. I had a great experience working with JP Direct Health to evaluate individual health insurance options after leaving an employer-sponsored medical plan.

What I appreciated most was the time they took to explain the differences between COBRA, individual health coverage, PPO network access, and alternative ERISA-based health plan options instead of simply trying to sell me a policy. We reviewed the costs, deductibles, copays, provider network, hospital coverage, and how the plan would work for my wife and me based on how we actually use healthcare.

I ultimately selected the $500 Copay plan using the PHCS PPO network. Before enrolling, we were able to confirm that our primary care doctors and my wife's OB/GYN were participating providers, which was very important to us.

The process was straightforward, the explanations were clear, and I felt like I was able to make an informed decision rather than just choosing the cheapest health insurance option.
